| The Watercolour Workshop is run by Sandi Gray from her studio in Warlingham, Surrey, England. It offers tuition in watercolour painting techniques to classes ranging from one to twenty students. Prices for the tution start from just £35 per person. The Workshop recently appeared on B.B.C. television, forming part of an episode of "Honey We're killing the kids". A session on painting sunflowers proved beneficial in bonding mother and daughter who were not getting on so well at the time! Painting is very therapeutic.... The Workshop also has the priviledge of tutoring the Mayday Art Group, whose members are recovering from Stroke or dealing with Parkinson's disease and once again, the painting proves really therapeutic and aids recovery. The group produce a calendar each year from their own paintings to sell in the Hospital foyer, as they are self funding and The Workshop has been able to help with this venture also. |
